12 C2655M-A (10/08) Rack Mounting The NET530 8T -EXP mounts in to an indus try-standard 19-inch (48 cm) equipment rack. The NE T5308T -EXP occ upies one r ack unit (1.7 5 inches or 4.5 cm) of ver tical rack spac e. The hard ware necess ary to moun t the NET5308T -EXP into a rack is supplie d with the unit.

If you are installin g the unit in to a square-hole rack: Insert 10 cage nuts into the square-hole rack a s shown in Figure 8. Align the top and bottom cage nuts on the front racks with the top and bottom cage nuts on the rear racks.

18 C2655M-A (10/08) CONNECTING VIDEO INPUT The NET5308T - EXP automa tically detec ts the vide o standard (PAL or NTSC) when you conn ect a video input. It acc epts both co lor a nd bl ack-white analog video. Use the Endura workst ation to enable or disable vi deo termination f or each vid eo input.
C2655M-A (10/08) 19 CONNECTING LOOPING VIDEO The NET530 8T -EXP suppo rts looping video. It pa sses the vide o input to a monitor or ot her analog video devi ce. T o use looping video: 1. Connect a coaxia l cable to the video out conn ector on the rear pan el.
20 C2655M-A (10/08) CONNECTING RELAY DEVICES The NET530 8T -EXP suppo rts up to f our relay d evices. Use th em to trigge r external devices. T he unit supp orts both momentary and continuous relay operation, either normally open or normally closed.

Each alar m in put can be either nor mally open or normally cl osed, eith er supervise d or unsupe rvised.

Supervised Alarm Input Wiring UNSUPERVISED ALARMS When an alarm is config ured as an unsupervised alar m, the NET5308T -EXP triggers an alarm only when the normal alarm st ate (open or closed) changes.

The unit has an autoranging po wer supply that ad apts automati cally to volt ages between 10 0 V AC and 240 VAC (50/60 Hz).
