A bou t C al l e r I d e nt i f ic a t ion (C al le r ID ) This product has a Caller ID with Call W aiting feature that works with service from your local phone service pr ovider . Caller ID with Call W aiting lets you see who’s calling before you ans w er the phone, e ven when you’ re on another call.
INSTALLATION T ab l e /D esk In s ta l l a t i o n ¥ NOTE: Install this telephone a way from electronic equipment, such as personal computers, television sets or micr o wav e ovens. Av oid excessive heat, cold, dust or moisture. 1 Connect the telephone line cord.
3 Install the handset battery . Use only A T&T Battery 330 1 , SKU# 91076. 4 Charge the handset battery. • Place the handset in the base. • Charg e the battery at least 12 hours. After the first char ge, the battery will char ge in eight hours.
H e a d s e t Y ou can use this telephone hands-free when you install any industry standard 2.5 mm headset (purchased separately). F or best results use an A T&T 2.5 mm headset. Plug the headset into the jack located on the right side of the handset (under the small rubber flap).
Wall Installation 1 Press the tabs as indicated (figure a). 2 Flip the base extension open (figure b). 3 Run the line cord and the power cord through the opening in the base extension and plug them into the jacks on the phone. (figure c). 4 Connect the telephone line cor d (figure e).

Stand the handset on a flat surface (not in the base) and continue your conversation.
R e d i a l The last five phone numbers dialed at the handset are stored in redial memor y . Press r epeatedly until the number you want to call is displa y ed then,press to dial the displayed number — OR — Press , then press repeatedly until the n umber you want to call is displa yed.

If you subscribe to Caller ID service with your local phone service provider , this phone stores all incoming calls with valid Caller ID information in the call log. Name, number , time and date information can all be stored,if they are sent with the call.

4 4 Answering System Feature Setup Y ou can set up one feature at a time,or you can set up a feature and then mo v e on to set up another feature. 1 Make sure the ans w ering system is on. 2 Press and release until you hear the system announce the feature you want to set.
4 5 F E A T U RE S U MM A R Y Default settings indicated by * . SYSTEM ANNOUNCES: DESCRIPTION/DIRECTIONS: “Change remote access code” Set the remote access code you 50* will use to access features and functions of the ans wering system from a touch tone phone.
4 6 This system automatically sa ves your messa ges until y ou delete them,and can store appr oximately 15 minutes of messa ges , memos, and announcements (up to a maximum of 99 messa ges). If the system has less than 30 seconds of recording time left,it automatically turns of f.
4 7 After playing the last messa g e in a mailbox,the system announces “ End of messages . ” If the system has less than five minutes of recording time left,it announces the remaining time. Press the MAILBOX/STOP button at any time during playback to exit message playback.

REMOTE ACCESS 5 0 C o n n ect wi th th e A ns w e r i n g Sy s te m Y ou can access many features of this system remotely from a touch tone phone. 1 Dial your telephone number. 2 When the system ans w ers enter your RemoteAccess Code (preset to 50). The system beeps once and announces the number of new messa g es on the system.
