6 Issue 1 March 1996 Ab breviat ed Dialing 0 The Abbreviat ed Dial ing ( AD) f eat ure allows you to store phone numbe rs and feature access codes for repeated use. This section describes two d ifferent ways of storing A D numb er s: automatic dial ing but tons and personal AD lists.

10 Issue 1 Mar c h 1996 Call F orwarding 0 There are t wo Cal l Forwarding featu res you ca n u s e : Cal l Forwardi ng - Al l Call s and Call Forwarding - Busy/Don’t Answer. Call Forwarding - All Calls causes calls to your voice terminal t o be forwarded immedi ately to a different t elephone number.

To retrieve your message s, fol- low local procedures. Mu te 0 The Mute f eat ure allows you to turn off the microphone on the hand set.

Issue 1 March 1996 21 Self- Test 0 To test the lam ps on your voice termi nal, do the fol lowing : 1. Press and hold . ■ All the lam p s go on. 2. Release to end t he test . ■ All the l amps go off, except for the l amp, which st ays green for a few seconds.

Issue 1 March 1996 23 To change from the handset to the speaker, do the following : 1. P r e ss . ■ The speaker comes on and the call goes through the sp eaker. 2. Hang up the handset. To end a c all while using t he speaker, do the foll owing: 1. P r e ss .
