Registr ation and deregistr ation Der egist ering handsets Y ou may need to deregist er your handsets if: Y ou have 12 register ed handsets and need to replace a handset. -OR- Y ou wish to change the designated handset number of your register ed handsets.

I get noise, sta tic, or weak signals even when I’m near the tel ephone base. If you subscribe to high-speed Internet servic e (DSL - digital subscriber line) through your t elephone line, you must install a DSL filter between the t elephone line cord and the telephone wall jack.
My cor dless handset does not ring when I r eceive a call. Make sur e that the ringer is not off. Refer t o Ringer volume in the user’s manual provided with y our CL81101/CL81201/ CL81301/CL82101/CL82201/CL82301/CL82351/CL82401/ CL82451/CL82501/CL82551/CL82601 telephone.
T r oubleshooting Appendix My calls cut in and out while I’m using my c ordless handset. Other electronic pr oducts such as HAM radios and other DECT phones can cause interfer ence with your cordless phone. T ry installing your phone as far aw ay as possible from these types of electronic devic es.

T r oubleshooting Appendix The char ge light is off or blinking. Make sur e you plug the power and line cords in correctl y and securely . Unplug the electrical power . Wait for 15 seconds, then plug it back in. Allow up to one minute f or the cordl ess handset and telephone base to r eset.
Maint enance T aking care of y our telephone Y our cordless tel ephone contains sophisticated electr onic parts, so you must treat it with car e. Avoid r ough treatment. Place the handset down gently . Save the original packing materials t o protect your telephone if you ever need to ship it.
