Getting Star ted In this chapter y ou will learn how to prepare the De vice for work and will read about its main control f eatures. CHAR GING BA T TER Y T o e xtend battery lifetime, it’ s recommended t o charge the Devic e for the rst time from 8 t o 12 hours in the off state.
Getting Started 1 4 NO TE Indication can be disabled in Settings > Saving Battery > LED indication . If the De vice is on when you connect the cable to PC, a dialog window asking to select action – PC link or Charge – will appear . PO WER MANA GEMENT T o turn on the De vice, press and hold On/Off button until star tup logo appears.

T o type a symbol, press a ke y . T o switch to another input language, press the current language button.

Getting Started 21 3 . T o set up conne ction with a hidden network, open C onnection to a hidden network and enter its SSID from the on-screen ke yboard in the Network name (SSID) eld.

Insert it to the slot , like it is shown on a gure, and slightly push until card will be xed. T o eject the card, slightly press on its edge until it will be unxed, and pull it to get.

T o enter notes mode, select Note reading menu section. NO TE Handwritten notes are not available for DjV u books.

Settings In this chapter you will learn how congure the interface and sof tware features of the Devic e for the most comf or table usage. Select Settings Main menu se ction to congure the Device. All changes will be applied after exiting the se ction.
Settings 68 Boot L ogo – image displayed during the Devic e star ts. L ogos are stored in system/logo internal st orage folder , so you can c opy an image you’d like t o be displayed during star tup. A TTENTION! System folder is hidden by default.
Settings 69 Key Mapping . In this section you can remap hardware ke ys. T o change key action, select it from the list and select action from the list. NET WORK In this section y ou can set parameters needed for network conne ction. Network ac c ess — on or off.
Settings 70 D A TE /TIME In this section y ou will be able to set date, time, time zone and clock format. Also you can set idle time bef ore locking ke yboard and automatic pow er off. Y ou can also Synchronize T ime or set Auto Time Sync to use the network time/date.
Settings 71 C ongure Dictionaries. Under this section you can un - check dictionaries you don’t want to be display ed in the list during the translation or in Dictionary application; A CC OUNT.
