MMI ® Contr ols Audio & Naviga tion The MMI® system consists of the MMI® display screen and the MMI® control panel. This panel is composed of a control knob with joystick, contr ol buttons and function buttons. Pressing one of the six function buttons such as or displays that features options in each corner of the MMI® screen.
V olume/T rack Advance Button Tipping the knob right or lef t allows you to move through audio tracks and r adio stations. Pressing will mute audio when in Radio mode and pause when playing media.

Automatic Clima te Con tr ol 23 AUT O Setting The setting of your Climate Control System maintains the cabin temperatur e to your selected temperature by r egulating the temperatur e, fan speed and airflow. Once activated, ther e is no need to alter the settings.
Airflow The airflow selector directs air to the floor , panel or defrost vents , or a combination. Recir culation The recirculation function pr events outside air and odors from entering the cabin. It may also be used in conjunction with AC to cool the cabin more quickly .

Rain Sensing Wipers T o activate rain-sensing wipers: 1. From the “OFF” position, move the wiper stalk up one click. 2. The r ain sensor will automatically turn the wipers on when it begins to rain, adjusting wipe fr equency with rainfall intensity .
At your desir ed speed, press the button at the end of the stalk. The set speed and the illuminated icon are shown in the Driver Information Display . T o activate, pull the control stalk toward you. This advanced Audi technology is designed to help save fuel and reduce C O 2 emissions at the same time. It shuts o the engine when you stop at trac signals or during certain stop-and-go driving. When the system shuts o the engine, the Start- Stop System light appears in the Driver Information Display in the instrument cluster .
Optional P anor amic Sunr oof Open T urn the dial clockwise to any of the dier ently sized rectangles. To open the sunroof completely , twist the dial clockwise, as far as it will go and hold. Comfort P osition Opening the sunroof to the Comfort position will help minimize variations in cabin pressur e and wind noise.

• The r ear hatch can be opened and closed automatically . Ther e are thr ee ways to open the power r ear hatch. Open the Hatch Important Safety Instructions and W arnings which you must read, are listed on the last panel under R ear Hatch. NOTE: Photo may not r epresent actual vehicle.
Closing the Hatch • Press the button on the r ear hatch edge; the hatch moves to the closed position and the sof t close mechanism locks. Optional P o w er R ear Hatch cont. 41 Setting the Open P osition The opening height of the rear hatch can be adjusted.

Some Audi connect® services are only available when the vehicle is stationary to reduce the risk of distracting the driver .
Navigation & In fotainment • The demands of tr ac require your full attention. • Obey all trac laws when driving. • The r oute calculated by the navigation system is a recommendation for reaching your destination. Obey tr ac lights, stopping restrictions , one-way streets , lane change restrictions, etc.
