Chapter 1: Introduction 7 Chapter 1: Introduction Congratulations on the purchase of your Autohelm ST30 Compass. The compass displays heading information directly from the fluxgate compass or, if the unit is used as a repeater, via the SeaTalk bus using data taken from another compass instrument or autopilot.
