9 2.4.1 DC Pow er and Ext er nal Sp e a ker Con nections The 6 foot long power cabl e asse mbly co nsists of the DC power a nd the externa l speaker cabl e. The DC power cab l e is composed of RE D (+) and BLA C K (-) wires, an d t h e e xt e rnal speaker cable has YELLOW (+) a nd GR EEN (-) wires.
10 It is r eco mm e nded th a t lug s be used to connect th e po wer cable to t he DC supply and that lugs s hould be bot h crimped and soldered. This is very importa n t in order to insure adeq uate c urre nt draw to the eq uip m e nt.
