7 INST ALLA TION Refrigerator Surface Installation 1. Remov e the prot ective backing fr om one side only of the two adhesive f oam pads; position them on the back of the wall mount brack et as shown. 2. Clean the int ended mounting ar ea on the refriger ator with isopr opyl alcohol.

14 OPERA TING THE HOMEBASE Preliminary Connections Prior to initial operation, the unit mus t be plugged in, and the tab (“REMOVE THIS T AB”) on the right side of the unit must be r emoved to enabl e backup battery operation.
15 GETTING ST ARTED Once homebase is pr operly mounted and plugged in, you ar e ready to begin. If you want to use y our own pictur es, be sur e to have your memory car d already connect ed. 1. T urn homebase on by moving the power switch on the l eft side upwar d.
16 F AMIL Y NAMES Y our Homebase can be cus tomized for y our famil y by inputting you f amily member names into the unit. This will allow y ou to leav e video and voice memos f or specific family members. If ther e is a message waiting f or someone, their name(s) will appear on the scr een indicating they hav e a memo.
17 MEMOS How do I lea ve a video memo? 1. Pres s the orange button that says memo. (This button will take y ou straight to the “memo” menu no matter wher e you are.) Y ou can also pr ess the menu button then highlight “memo” and pr ess OK/menu .

29 PHO TO MENU The homebase can acc ept 6 differ ent types of memory devices SD, MMC, MS, xD and CF car ds as well as a USB flash drive. When you plug one of these de vices into the appr opriate rec eptacle the unit will go dir ectly to step 6 bel ow and display the photo icons on y our memory device.
