5 Rang e COOKTOP USE Cooktop Controls Electric ign iters automatical ly light th e surface bur ners wh en control knobs are turned t o IGNITE. Before setting a control knob, p lace filled cookw are on the grate. Do not operate a bur ner using empty cookware or while the grate is unoccupi ed.
6 Power failure In case of prolonged power failure, the surface bu rners ca n be lit manually . Hold a lit mat ch near a burner and t urn knob counter clockw ise to I GNITE.

8 Timer The Timer c an be se t in hours or minute s up to 12 hours and 59 minutes and counts do wn the set t ime. NOTE : The Timer does not start or stop the oven. To S e t : 1. Press TIMER CANCEL*. The timer oven indicator light will light up. If no action is taken after 1 minu te, the di splay wi ll re turn to the time of day mode.
9 BAKEWARE T o cook food evenly , hot a ir must be able to circulate. Allow 2" (5 cm) of space around ba keware and oven walls. Use the following chart as a guid e. Aluminum Foil IMPORT AN T : Do not line th e oven bott om with any typ e of foil, liners or cookware because perman ent damage will occur to the oven bottom finish.
10 Pr eh eati ng After ST ART/ENTER is touched , the oven will enter a timed pr ehe at con di tion ing cy cle. The T emp, Bake , and On indi cato r light s will li ght up . The E lectr onic Oven C ontr ol au tomati cally selects the cond itioning cycle t ime based on the oven temperat ure selected.
11 5. Press ST ART/EN TER. The di splay will coun t down t he time . When the ti me ends, the oven will shut off auto maticall y and “End” will app ear on the disp lay . 6. Press OFF/CANCEL or open the oven door to clear t he display . T o Set a Delay ed Cook Time: Before setting, make su re the clock is set to t he correct time of day .
12 General Cleaning IMPORT AN T : Before clean ing, make sure all controls are of f and the oven and cookt op are cool. Always follow lab el instructi ons on cle ani ng prod ucts . Soap, wat er and a soft cloth or sponge are suggested first un less otherwise noted.
13 BROILER P AN AND GRID (on som e models) Do not clean in the Self-Cleaning cycl e. Cleaning Method: ■ Mildly abrasive cl eanser: Scrub with wet scour ing pad. ■ Solution of ¹₂ cup ( 125 mL) ammonia t o 1 gal. ( 3.75 L) wa ter: Soak for 20 minutes, th en scr ub with sc ouring or ste el-wool pad.
14 Storage Draw er The storage drawer c an be removed. Before r emoving, make sure drawer is cool and empt y . To R e m o v e : 1. Pull the storage drawer straig ht back past th e drawer stop notch and th e end of the side rails. 2. Lift up the bac k of the drawer and pu ll the drawer out .
15 Oven tempe rature too high or t oo low ■ Does the oven temperature calibration need adjustment? See “Oven T emperat ure Control” section. Display shows message s ■ Is the display showi ng “PF”or a flashing t ime? There has been a power fail ure.
