T his is the only safe and sure way to detect any gas leaking from joints and connections of the barbecue after asse m bly.
18 Never use any abrasive m aterial on porcelain finishes. T he grills and griddles are not dishwasher safe. • We do not recom mend washing ceram ic briquettes, the step described above should rem ove most food residue from the cera m ic briquettes.

20 Griddle plat e cooking T he cast iron burners heat the griddle plate directly, which then cooks the food on contact. Griddle plates enable the cooking of s m aller ite m s that would, otherwise, fall through the grill. T hey can also be used for searing cuts of m eat or cooking food like eggs that would not be possible to cook on a grill.

Push and turn the side burner control knob anti-clockwise to the high position taking care to protect yourself from fla m es.
