The contact s are energized upon power up of the un it and remain energized until an alarm condition or powe r loss occurs.

There is no need to crossover the Transmit and Receive signals f rom the PC side since this has been done internally as is shown below.

15 2007 RuggedCom Inc. All rights reserved Rev101 3.1.2 Wiring VDSL typically opera tes over 2-wire CAT-3 wiring; howeve r, other categorized or uncatego rized twisted-pair wiring will work although the pe rformance will vary depending on the d istance and cable characteristics.
