English - 17 Configuring the Basic Settings in Initial Setup When you turn the TV on for the first time, a sequence of screens and on-screen pr ompts will assist you in configuring the TV’ s basic settings. Plug the power cord into a wall outlet, and then pr ess the P button to turn on the TV .

Home networks that support DHCP automatically provide the IP addr ess, subnet mask, gateway, and DNS values your TV needs to access the Internet so you don’t have to enter them manually.
