Given this inde- pendent system, the freezer and the refrigerator are cooled individually and are, theref ore, more efficient. F ood odor from the refrigerator does not aff ect food in the freez er due to separate air flo w circulation.

8 TEMPERA TURE CONTROL Freezer • The freezer temper ature can be set between -14 ℃ and -25 ℃ . • Press the Freeze button repeatedly until the desired set temperature is shown in the temper ature displa y . • The temperature displa y changes in sequence between -14 ℃ and -25 ℃ .

14 REMO VING THE FREEZER A CCESSORIES • Do not use e xcessive f orce when removing the co ver . It ma y cause an injur y . Glass Shelf • Pull the shelf out as f ar as it goes. Then lift it up and remov e it. Door Bin • Hold the door bin with both hands and then lift it up .
15 OPERA TING INSTR UCTIONS CLEANING THE A CCESSORIES • Do not spra y the refrigerator with water . It may cause a serious electric shock. • Do not clean it with benzene, thinner or car detergent.
16 CHANGING THE INTERIOR LIGHT INTERIOR LIGHT IN THE REFRIGERA T OR . Bef ore changing the inter ior light, unplug the refrigerator from the power supply . If you hav e difficulty changing the light, contact your service center . W ARNING T win Deodorizer • Remov e the cov er with a flat b lade screw driver as sho wn.

20 REMO VING THE REFRIGERA T OR DOORS 1) With the door closed, remov e the upper hinge cov er ( ➀ ) using a screwdriver , and then disconnect the wires ( ➁ ). 2) Remov e hinge screws ( ➂ ) and ground screw ( ➃ ) counter-clockwise , and take off the upper hinge ( ➄ ) in the direction of the arrow ( ➅ ).
21 INST ALLA TION INSTR UCTIONS REMO VING THE REFRIGERA T OR DOORS 3) Remov e the door from the low er hinge ( ➆ ) by lifting the door ( ➇ ). 4) Remov e the low er hinge ( ➈ ) from the brack et in ( ➉ ) b y lifting the lower hinge ( ➈ ) the direction of the arrow .
22 Reattaching the Freezer Door REA TT A CHING THE REFRIGERA T OR DOORS 1) Inser t the lower hinge ( ➀ ) in the brac ket low er hinge ( ➁ ). 2) Reattach the freezer door b y inser ting the hose ( ➂ ) in the low er side of the door into the hole in the lower hinge ( ➃ ) and pulling the hose down.

27 INST ALLA TION INSTR UCTIONS CHECKING THE W A TER DISPENSER LINE 1) In order to operate the ice maker properly , water pressure of 1.4 ~10 ㎏f/㎠ is required. In this range a 100 cc paper cup can be filled in 10 secs . 2) The water filter removes particles.
28 INST ALLING OF THE W A TER DISPENSER LINE Connecting to water supply line Connect the water line to the refrigerator Chec k the water supply line - Shut off the main water supply line and turn the Ice maker to the off position. - Locate the nearest cold drinking water line.

30 W A TER ICE 2) When you press the test b utton, the ice cube container is filled with water from the water supply tap . Check the amount of w ater (see the illustration below). If the water le v el is too low , the ice cubes will be small. This is not a problem with the ice mak er but of the w ater pressure in the pipe, and occurs frequently .
31 INST ALLA TION INSTR UCTIONS TR OUBLESHOO TING The refrigerator does not work at all or it does not chill sufficiently • Check that the po wer plug is properly connected. • Is the temperature control on the displa y panel set to the correct temperature? T r y setting it to a lower tem- perature.
