7 G et started First st eps to operati ng your phone SIM card information When you subscribe to a cellular network, you receive a plug-in SIM (Subscriber Identity Module) card loaded with your subscripti on details, such as y our PIN, and available optional services.

26 Call functions Using the headset Use the headset to m ake or answer calls without holding t he pho n e. Connect the heads et to the jack on th e left side of the phone. The button on the headset works as follows: Options during a call Y ou can access a number of functions during a call.

The two ca llers can talk to each other , but you are disconnected from the call. • Join : set up a m ulti-par ty call b y adding a caller on hold to a currently active call. Y ou can include up to 5 people on a multi-party call.

30 Menu functions Call costs (Menu 1.7) This network feature displays the cost of calls. This menu is available only if supported by your SIM card. Note that this is not intended to be used for billing purposes. • Last call cost : check the cost of your last call.

Service number (Menu 2.8) Use this menu to view the list of Service Dialling Numbers (SDN) assigned by your service provider , including emergency numbers and numbers for directory enquiries.

Y ou can select a network other than your home network only if t here is a valid roaming agreement between the two.

Y our phone can handle any of the following types of networks: GSM 1900 and Combined GSM 900/1800. The country where you purchased your phone determines the default band that it uses.
