MagicInfo VideoW all VideoW all is an application which publishes video wall content cr eated in the authoring tool MagicInfo VideoW all Author or general content (images, movies, etc. ) through VideoW all Console, and plays the published content on video wall monitors.

3 Understanding This Manual This manual provides product inf ormation in easy-to-understanding instructions as follows. Menu Command Men u co mma nds are des crib ed a s f oll ows. : S elec t S tart up - Vi deo W all Age nt. - This means that you must select the Video W all Agent on the Startup tab.

5 System R equirements Hardware CPU : Intel Pentium 4 1.8GHz or higher Dual Core or higher for LivePlayer RAM: 2GB (or higher) DISK : 51GB (or higher) Software IE 6.
6 Installation and Uninstallation Installing the Progr am Run the installation le to display the installation screen. This is the rst screen of the installation wizard. Click Next t o contin ue the install ation or click Cancel to exit the installation.
7 This is the conrmation screen display ed before the installation begins. Click Back to change or review the installation settings you ha ve made or click Cancel to end the installation wizard. Click Install to start the installation. MagicInfo VideoW all Console is being installed in the folder you selected.
8 Conrm that you want to completely remove the program. Click Y es to start the program uni nstall process. The uninstall process has started. Click Finish to complete the uninstall process. License R egistrati on A product license must be registered bef ore running MagicInfo VideoW all Console.

14 Tips How To View Content - If video or image les along with video wall content les are registered, the registered content items can be viewed in two ways. Select the Video or Image tab in the Content tab and click the arrow on the button on the upper right corner .
15 Tips Publishing Content - For details on publishing content, r efer to the “Registering a Schedule” section herein. Publishing Content Select the content you want to publish and cli ck the button. 16 Caution Deleting Content Permanently - Content deleted permanently from Recy cle Bin cannot be restored. If you che ck the chec kbo x o n th e to p me nu bar , the re gist ere d co nten t it ems are all selected. Conrm that they are the content items you w ant to delete and click .

18 Tips Mapping - 1 Virtual Monitor Name View the name of virtual monitors specied in the VideoW all Author . (e.g. 2x2 video wall monitors are described as VM000, VM001, VM002 and VM003. ) 2 Physical Monitor Name Vie w t he n ame of a monitor . Click the arrow in the combo box to view the name of each monitor .
19 Tips If you place your mouse cursor ov er the area where a schedule is allotted, the name and time of the published content will appear . Status - 1 Schedule List View the name of and date and time for the content to be played on the video wall monitors.

28 Caution Changing a Schedule - A scheduled area where more than one schedule is allotted does not display the schedule settings window even if it is double-clicked. Changing a schedule using UI in the VideoW all Console is only possible in weekly viewing mode.

34 Tips Select All - Select the checkbox on the top menu bar to select all the monitors that are registered. ON, OFF - A small computer icon can be found before the name of a monitor . The status of connection between a monitor and the VideoW all Console is indicated by the change in the status of this icon.
35 Access The mon itor s c onne cted to the Vid eoW all Con sole can be con tro lled re mote ly . Select a monitor for remote access and click the button. The re mote ac cess scr een wil l ap pear an d th e co nte nt b eing pla yed on t he s elec ted monitor will be displayed.

37 Creating a Group In VideoW all Console, a group of monitors can be created. Select monitors to create a group and press at th e to p to di spla y t he g rou p creation window . Enter a group name and press . If you sel ect a g rou p in the co mbo box at the top , onl y t he m onit ors tha t be long to the selected group can be viewed.

40 Sync Time If you select a monitor and press the bu tto n, t he time on the mon itor is synchronized with the VideoW all Console. For time synchronization update, the monitor will restart automatically . Click the button. Tips Synchronizing the Time - Check if the Time Synchronization item in the list is set to <Y es>.

47 Run Command Run Command issues the command the user wants to run on the monitors. Ent er t he comm and you wa nt to r un i n t he R un eld . System Control System Control issues a command on the power status of the monitors. In the P ower Control options, select On, Off or R estart for the monitors.
48 Kill Process Kill Process issues a command to end a currently running pr ocess. Enter the process running on the monitors in the Process eld. Service Control Service Control issues a command on the status of services to the monitors. Enter the name of service you want to instruct the monitors to perform.
49 Close Window Close Window issues a command to close a user-selected window on the monitors. Enter the name of the window you want to close in the Window Title eld. Dene the Remote T ask you need and its detailed settings, and pr ess the but ton .
50 Tips Editing a Job Schedule - Double-click a schedule to display the Edit window where the schedule can be modied. Below is a screenshot showing an assigned Job Schedule. Cancel An assigned Job Schedule can be canceled. Select the Job Schedule you want to cancel and press .
51 Delete An assigned Job Schedule can be deleted. Select the Job Schedule you want to delete and press . The window asking if you want to delete the selected schedule is displayed.
52 Log Log shows a history of events or tasks assigned to the monitors by date and time. Select a Log, and delete or convert it into an Excel le and export. Device Name View the name of a monitor. Event Class Classify events assigned to a monitor. Event Time View the time when an event was assigned to a monitor.
53 Export A Log can be converted into an Excel le and exported. Press the button. If the win dow aski ng for a d esti nat ion path to sav e is disp la yed , sp ecif y the le location and name, and save. Below is a Log list saved as an Ex cel le.

55 Tips Magic Info Server Settings - 1 Server IP Set the IP address of the Server . 2 Port Set the port of the Server . Connecting to Magic Info Server - The status of the connection between the Server and VideoW all Console is indicated by the status of the icon as follows: The Server is connected to VideoW all Console.
56 1 Magic Info Serv er Settings Do not acc ess Mag icIn fo server Select this mode if you do not intend to access the Server. Acc ess Magi cIn fo s erve r periodically Select this mode to access the Server periodically. Server address Set the IP of the Server to download.
57 Tips 1 Language Select a language to use in VideoW all Console. 2 RDC File Specify the path to the RDC le by clicking the button. 3 Network Device Select a network card for data transmission. 4 Broadcasting Address Shows the broadcast address congured automatically for the network card.

59 Tips 1 ID Enter the ID of the user to be added. 2 Password Enter the Password of the user to be added. 3 Conrm Password Conrm the password again. 4 Information Enter in information of the user to be added. Add Add a user other than the Administrator .
60 Tips 1 Password Enter the current password of the user whose password you want to change. 2 Conrm Password Conrm the new password again. 3 Information Enter in information of the user whose information you want to change. Change The password and information of a user can be changed.
61 Delete A user ID can be deleted. Select a user ID and click the button. The window asking if you want to delete the selected user ID is displayed. Click the button.

63 Screen Composition 1 2 3 4 5 1 View the name of the content le currently being play ed on the video wall monitors. 2 Select a scene you want to edit in the Scene Editor . 3 Y ou can view the scene selected in step 2 in playback mode. Right-click on the scene that is pl aying to view its playback order and properties.

66 Tips Moving Between Scenes - When VideoW all Client displays a VWL le that contains many scenes, the user can choose to move from one scene to another when requi red. Select a scene number from the Scene list on the left side. The current scene will be replaced by the selected one.

70 Tips Port and Local IP Settings - If the port number is changed, the monitor cannot be controlled remotely from the VideoW all Console. Using an IP other than a Local IP can increase security risks. Video W all Agent Composition Right-click the Video W all Agent icon to display the menu tab.

79 Tips IP Camera - The IP Camera, which is used ov er a network, must have an IP to be oper able. Only a Samsung IP Camera can connect to LivePlayer .
80 2 Streaming Inf ormation Device View the model name of the IP Camera whose screen is currently being transmitted. Camera IP View the IP address of an IP Camera. Broadcasting Address View the broadcasting address. Status View the stream status. Frame View the number of data frames transmitted to the video wall monitors.
81 Adding and Deleting an IP Camer a Add An IP Camera can be added. Press to display the settings window where you can add an IP Camera. Select Camera Select an IP Camera model. Camera IP Enter the IP address of an IP Camera. Camera Port Enter the port number of an IP Camera.

84 Settings Change settings for PC Screen. Press the button when there is no data transmission. The PC Screen Settings window is display ed. Stream Port Set the Port to transmit the PC Screen. Quality Select the picture quality to transmit image data.
