2 W ARNINGS / SAFETY PRECA UTIONS W arning T o avoid an y risk of personal injury , material damage or incorrect use of the appliance , be sure to observe the following safety precautions. (After reading these owner’ s instructions, please keep them in a safe place for ref erence).
3 • K eep v entilation openings in the appliance enclosure or mounting str ucture clear of obstruction. • Do not use mechanical devices or any other means to accelerate the defrosting process, other than those recommended by the manuf acturer . • Do not damage the refrigerant circuit.
Allow an adequate space and install the fridge/freez er on a firm, level floor . • If the appliance is not lev el, there may be unusual noises and poor cooling. • W ait for at least one hour bef ore plugging the appliance in. Clean the fridge/freez er .
PREP ARING THE FRIDGE/FREEZER 5 Install all shelves and compar tments remov ed dur ing transpor t in the correct positions. Clean the fridge/freezer and accessor ies to remov e any dust that accumulated during packing and shipping. The interior light of the appliance will light up when the door is open.

7 The temperature display ( ➃ ) flashes “– –” if there has been a pow er f ailure. Chec k that the f ood stored in the appliance has not gone bad. Y ou must empty the refr igerator before pressing the V AC button. REF .TEMP Button • T o change the refrigerator temperature: – Press the REF .
8 ST ORING FOOD IN THE REFRIGERA T OR OR FREEZER When storing food in the appliance, follo w the recommendations below . • Allo w warm food and be verages to cool down bef ore storing them in the appliance. • Ensure that f ood is well-wrapped or covered bef ore it is stored.
9 Upper freezer drawer • Store pac ked froz en f oods, lik e ice cream and bacon. Middle/lower freezer drawer • Store fresh meat and fish or dried foods, which are divided into suitably sized por tions. B. Freezer Wrapping f ood P ack the food in suitab ly sized portions for your household.
10 MAKING ICE Pull out the ice cube maker . Fill trays in up to the water level mark (arro w). Put the ice cube maker back in position. Close the freezer door . A. T wist type B. Normal type P our water into the ice cube maker . • Fill the mak er up to about 80% with wat er.
11 USING THE W A TER DISPENSER (OPTION) With the water dispenser , y ou can obtain chilled water easily without opening the refrig erator door . In addition, you can sa ve electricity by more than 30% reducing the n umber of times the door is open.
12 INST ALLING A REGULAR BO TTLE Press the fixing lever , lift the exclusive water tank upwards, then remove it. Remove the water supply de vice from the e xclusive water tank, then set the inner groo ve of the water supply device in a regular mineral water bottle and fix it in position by turning it.
13 REMO VING AND CLEANING THE A CCESSORIES Ice cube maker (optional) • Hold the knob of ice cube maker , then pull the ice cube maker f orward. • Remo ve the ice cube mak er and rinse it in water .
14 CLEANING THE W A TER DISPENSER Connection path Wipe out the connection path and surrounding area with a clean damp cloth. Dispenser T ray Using the dispenser tra y handle, remov e the tray . Empty the water in the dispenser tra y , then clean it using warm water and detergent.
