4 MAJOR FEA TURES T win Cooling System • The refrigerator and the freezer ha ve tw o ev aporators . Given this inde- pendent system, the freezer and the refrigerator are cooled individually as required and are, theref ore, more efficient.
5 OPERA TING INSTR UCTIONS CONTR OL P ANEL RS2533 RS2555, RS2577 FREEZER TEMP . BUTT ON T o set the freezer temperature, press the button repeatedly to change the set temperature in sequence between -14°C and -25°C .
6 DIGIT AL P ANEL • This light indicates the recyclable twin deodorizers are in oper ation. • Recycle the honeycomb cartr idge once or twice a year (see “Cleaning the Accessories” section) • This light is on when you press the P ower Cool b utton.
Press the Ice T ype button to select the type of ice: • Cubed ice • Crushed ice • No ice If the Ice remains in the Ice buc ket, the cubed ice is obtained. Push the ice dispenser lever with a cup. • Place a cup in line with the dispenser lev er the dispenser to prev ent the ice from jumping out.

18 REMO VING THE REFRIGERA T OR DOORS 1) Remov e the screw from clamp ( ). 2) Remov e the water tube b y pressing the coupler ( ➁ ) and pulling the water tube ( ➀ ) aw a y . Open the freezer and refrigerator doors, and then tak e off the front leg cover b y tur ning the three screws counter-cloc kwise.
19 INST ALLA TION INSTR UCTIONS REMO VING THE REFRIGERA T OR DOORS 1) With the door closed, remov e the upper hinge cov er ( ➀ ) using a scre wdriver , and then disconnect the wires ( ➁ ). 2) Remov e hinge screws ( ➂ ) and ground screw ( ➃ ) counter-clockwise, and tak e off the upper hinge ( ➄ ) along the arrow ( ➅ ).
20 REMO VING THE REFRIGERA T OR DOORS 3) Remov e the door from the low er hinge ( ➆ ) by lifting the door ( ➇ ). 4) Remov e the lower hinge ( ➈ ) from the brack et lower hinge ( ➉ ) b y lifting the lower hinge ( ➈ ) in the direction of the arrow .
21 INST ALLA TION INSTR UCTIONS Reattaching the Freezer Door REA TT A CHING THE REFRIGERA T OR DOORS 1) Inser t the lower hinge ( ➀ ) in the brac ket low er hinge ( ➁ ). 2) Reattach the freezer door b y inser ting the hose ( ➂ ) in the low er side of the door into the hole in the lower hinge ( ➃ ) and pulling the hose down.
22 REA TT A CHING THE REFRIGERA T OR DOORS Reattaching the Refrigerator Door 1) Inser t the lower hinge ( ➀ ) in the brac ket low er hinge ( ➁ ). 2) Place the hole in the refrigerator door ( ➂ ) o ver the lower hinge ( ➃ ). 3) Inser t the upper hinge shaft ( ➄ ) into the hole ( ➅ ).

24 ADJUSTING THE CLEARANCE BETWEEN THE DOORS The doors will be uneven if the refrigerator is not level. Case 1) F reezer door is lo wer than that of the refrigerator Inser t a flat-blade screwdriv er (-) ( ➀ ) into a slot of the control lev er ( ➁ ), turn it clockwise and lev el the refrigerator .

26 CHECKING THE W A TER DISPENSER LINE 1) In order to operate the ice maker properly , w ater pressure of 20 ~125 psi is required. In this range a 170 cc paper cup can be filled in 10 secs . 2) The water filter removes particles. It does not sterilize or destroy an y micro-organisms.

W A TER ICE 28 2) When you press the test b utton, the ice cube container is filled with water from the water supply tap . Check the amount of w ater (see the illustration below). If the water le vel is too lo w , the ice cubes will be small. This is not a problem with the ice mak er but of the w ater pressure in the pipe, and occurs frequently .
