Dialer and Call Progress When a user plac es a call, the dialer/call progress applica tion starts. The dialer UI appears when a us er makes a call by en teri ng numbers on th e keypad from the Ho me screen, as shown in the left of the following figure.
Answering a call When somebody calls you, the phone rings. If the caller can be ide ntified, the caller’s phone number (or name if pre-stored in your Contacts) is displayed. To answer the call, press any button on the key pad (except END ). You can answer a call while using another ap plication.
