This icon is displayed when the phone is Off. Indicates that initial programing is required before operating your new phone.

The left si de is used to wr ite letters and the right side is f or number en tr y . Symbols and common funct ions are located in othe r smaller box e s located to the right of the writing box area.
Chapter 3 - P ersonal Settings 34 Letter Recognizer This option allows you to enter text using your own handwriting. The screen is divided into t hree diff erent areas. A capitol lett er area, sma ll letter area , and a number area. Cha racters are ente red by printing lett ers in each area.
