7 G et started First st eps to operati ng your phone SIM card information When you subscribe to a cellular network, you receive a plug-in SIM (Subscriber Identity Module) card loaded with your subscripti on details, such as your PIN, and available optional services.
8 Get started Low battery indicator When the battery is low: • a warning tone sounds, • the battery low message displays, and • the empty bat tery icon blinks. If the battery lev el becomes too low , the phone automatically turns off . R echarge your battery .

Call functions 27 Redialling recent numbers 1. In Idle mode, press [ ] to display the list of recent numbers. 2. Scroll to the number you w ant and press [ ]. Making a call from Phonebook Once you have stored a number in Phonebook, you can dial the number by selecting it from Phonebook.
28 Call functions Using the headset Use the headset to m ake or answer calls witho ut holding the phone. Connect the heads et to the jack on the left side of the phone. The button o n the headset wor ks as follows: Options during a call Y ou can access a number of functions during a call.

58 Menu functions Delivery report : set the netw ork to inform you when messages ha ve been delivered. Character support : select a char acter encoding type. If you select Auto , the phone switches the encoding type from GSM-alphabet to Unicode if you enter an unicode character .
