23 Cor r ecting an Enter ed Number Use the following steps to correct a mis-typed entry when dialing. 1. After entering a number • T o clear the last digit displayed , press the key . • T o clear another d igit in the numb er , pre ss the Left or Right Navigation key until the cursor is immediately to the right of the digit to be cleared.

27 Viewin g Missed Ca lls The number of calls you have missed is di splayed on both the Idle screen and the front pane l LCD. T o vi ew the number details: 1. If the phone is closed, open the phone. 2. Press the Vi e w soft key . T he most recently missed ca ll is displayed.
Call Functio n s 28 Recent Calls Saving a Missed Call to your Address Book T o sa ve the missed call entry to your address book, use th e following steps: 1. Press the Vi ew soft key . The most recent ly missed call is displayed. 2. With the misse d call selected press the Options soft key .

35 Silent Mode Silent mo de is conve nient when yo u wish to stop t he phone from maki ng noise, in a theater for example. In Idle mode, press and hold the key unt il the phone vibr ates, the “Sil ent Profile on” message a ppears on screen. Both the Si lent mode and Vibration icons are disp layed on the Main Dis play screen.

Messaging 62 Creating an d Sending T ext Messages The Message icon ( ) displays when yo u have received new text messages. When the memor y is full, an error mess a ge displays and you ca nnot re ceive any new messages. Use the Delete option in each messa ge bo x to delete obso lete messa ges.

Changing Y our Settin gs 90 Set Connectivity The Bluetooth wireless technology settings me nu provides the ab ility to view a nd change the device name, show the visibili ty , and set the securi ty for the device. • Activ ation : allows you to use the Bluetooth f eatures a vailabl e when Bluetooth is activa ted.
