Y our P hone 9 Your Phone External Display Y our phone has an external LCD di splay on the folder . It indicates when you have an incoming cal l or a me ssage. The ext ernal display can alert you t o alarms y ou have se t by flashing at the specified time and displaying the corresponding icon.
Getting S tarted 10 Getting Started Installing the SIM Card When you subsc ribe to a ce llular network, you are provided with a plug-in SIM card loaded with your subscription details, such as your PIN, any optional services , and other information.

Call Functions 15 Call Functions Call Functions Selecting Functions and Options The roles of the soft keys vary depending on the function you are currently using. The labels on th e bottom line of the display just above each ke y indicat e their curren t role.

Putting a Call on Hold Y ou can place the current call on hold whenever you want. Y ou can make another call while you have a call in progress if you r network supports this ser vice.

If the Mute keys option is selected, your phone does not transmit the DTMF (Dual T one Multi-Freque ncy ) tones o f the keys , which allows you to press keys withou t hearing a nnoying key tones during a call.
