Section 7: Messaging 47 Mobile Email Opti ons The follow ing are the options a vailable for the Mo bile Email menu. Press Options to select from the f ollowing opti ons. • Select : allows you to access the sign-in screen for the highlighted email client.

56 Using Instant Messenger (IM) The Instant Messaging func tion allows you to send a nd receive instant messages using AIM, ICQ and Y ahoo communities. Y ou must first create a default communi ty account before accessing it on your phone. T o access your defaul t commu nity session settings, use the following steps: Default Community Settings 1.

62 Quiet Mode This menu item allows you to select what mode your phone wi ll go in when y ou press and ho ld the key . Y ou ca n choose Vi brat ion All or Sile nt All. When V ibration All is selected your phone w ill only vibrat e. When S ilent All is selected your phone will not make a sound or vibrate.

70 • Default Group : you may set a default CUG with yo ur service provider . If y ou have done so, you can enable the Default Group option on your phone. When mak ing a call, you ar e give the option of usi ng your default CUG, inst ead of selecting one from the list.

Change P a ssword The Change Password feature allows you to c hange your current phone password to a new one.
72 Change PIN2 The Change PIN2 feature allows you to change your current PIN2 to a new on e. Y ou must enter the current PIN2 before you can specify a new one. Once you have entered a new PIN2, you are asked to confirm it by enterin g it again. Note: Not all SIM car ds ha ve a PIN2.
