English 3 Getting started This section explains what to remember for the proper use of your Bluetooth headset. Your headset overview Make sure you have the following items with y our headset : Charger , User's guide The items supplied with your headset may vary depending on y our region.
4 Button functions Talk button Press and hold to turn the headset on or off . Press to make or answer a call. Press to end a call. Press and hold to enter Pairing mode. / Volume up or down button Press to adjust the volume. Press and hold both buttons at the same time to turn the indicator light on or off .
English 5 Charging the headset This headset has a rechargeable internal battery which is non- removable. Ensure that you fully charge the battery before using the headset for the rst time. 1 Put the charger into the jack on the headset and into a power outlet.
6 Use only a Samsung-approved charger . Unauthorised chargers may cause an explosion or damage to the headset. The battery will gradually wear out while charging or discharging because it is a consumable part. The headset is not able to operate while charging.
English 7 Depending on what ear you are going to wear the headset, simply adjust the ear hook accordingly . Left Right Using your headset This section explains how to turn the headset on, pair with the phone, and use various functions. Activated functions may differ depending on the phone type.
8 Turning the headset on or off T o turn the headset on, press and hold [ ] until the blue indicator light ashes 4 times. T o turn the headset off , press and hold [ ] until both blue and red indicator lights ash.
English 9 Pairing with the other Bluetooth phone Y our headset can be connected with two Bluetooth phones at the same time. This means you can use your headset between two different phones. 1 T urn off the headset after connecting with the rst Bluetooth phone.
10 Using call functions Making a call Redialing the last number Press and hold [ ] to redial the last number of the most recently connected phone. Press [ ] twice to redial the last number of the other phone. Dialing a number by voice Press [ ] to dial a number of the rst phone by voice, and say a name.
English 1 1 Rejecting a call Press and hold [ ] to reject a call when a call comes in. When two calls from the two connected phones come in, pressing and holding [ ] will reject the call of the rst phone. Using options during a call Y ou can use the following functions to control your call during a call.
12 Answering a second call When the headset is connected with one Bluetooth phone: Press [ ] to end the rst call and answer a second call of the same phone when you hear call waiting tones. Press and hold [ ] to place the rst call on hold and answer a second call of the same phone when you hear call waiting tones.
English 13 Appendix Frequently asked questions Will my headset work with laptops, PCs, and PDAs? Y our headset will work with devices that support your headset's Bluetooth version and proles.
14 Can other Bluetooth phone users hear my conversation? When you pair your headset to your Bluetooth phone, you are creating a private link between only these two Bluetooth devices.
