8 ELECTRICAL CONNECTI ON This appliance should be properly grounded for your safety. The power cord of this appliance is equipped with a three-pro ng plug which mates with standard three prong wall outlets to minimize the possibility of electrical shock.
9 OPERATING YOUR WINE CH ILLER It is recommended you ins tall the Wine Chiller in a place wher e the ambient temperature is between 72-78 degrees Fahre nheit. If the ambie nt temperature is above or belo w recommended temperatures, the performance of the u nit may be affected.
10 When you store mostly red wines, you should st ore them in the BOTTOM ZONE, the temper ature which you control n eeds to be set at bet ween 5 8 to 65 F/15ºC to 18ºC and the red LED lamp marked “RED” will be lit When you store mostly white wines, you can store them in the TOP ZONE or BOTTOM ZONE.
11 To remove the shelves out of t he rail pull each shelf approximately 60% out. Us e a long flat screwdriver to press down the right plastic notch as shown in Figur e A and at the same time lift the left plastic notch as shown in Figure B. Then proceed to pull ou t the shelf slowly.
12 CARE AND MAINTENANCE CLEANING YOUR WINE CHILLER Turn off the power, unplug t he appliance, and remove all items incl uding s helves. Wash the inside surf aces with a warm water and baking soda solut ion. The solution shoul d be about 2 tablespoons of baking soda to a quart of water.
