English 7 Settings To use the functions of this unit effectively, the recording conditions and installation environment must be specified beforehand. These setting items are arranged and displayed in two levels consisting of the main menu and sub-menus.
8 English Menu Setting Procedures This sets th e main unit c lock to the current t ime. 1 Select “ Month/Da y/Year Hour/Minute ” from the menu. The day o f the week is selected automatically based on the date. Click [SET] to se t the time. This sets d aylight savi ng and adjust s the time for periph eral devices .

10 English Menu Setting Procedures The hard disk in t his unit consists of thr ee independent recording areas, each of which has five recording modes. A perce ntage of t he total reco rding capacit y is allocat ed to each recording area (setti ngs are in units of 1%) .

20 English Menu Setting Procedures When the digital video recorder is connect ed to a network, NETWORK SET is used to make settings beforehand from the main unit, but the settings tha t have been specified from the main unit can also be changed from the computer.
