Putting the headset system into operation 10 Putting the headset system into operation Putting the base station into operation You can use the headset system with your fixed line pho ne ( Phone mode) and/or your P C ( PC mode). The base station controls the wireless commu - nication betw een the products.

15 Putting the headset system into operation Installing the HeadSetup software The HeadSetup sof tware enables the headset system to communicate with a wide variety of softphones and allo ws you to use the call control func - tions. Even without the HeadSetup s o ftware, the headset system can still be used as an audio input and output device.
Putting the headset system into operation 16 Putting the headset into operation The microphone boom of the Pro1/Pro 2 headset can be swiveled, allowing the microphone to be worn on t he lef t or right-hand side (see pa ge 24 ).
17 Putting the headset system into operation 왘 Push the AUDIO button in the direct ion in wh ich you wa nt to increase the volume until the HEADSET LED goes off.

You can also esta blish or disconne ct the wireless li nk by pressing the PC button or the PHONE button 쐋 on the base station (depending on the selected mode ( PC or Phone ), see p age 28 ).
25 Using the headset system Calling via the fixed line phone using the headset Accepting an incoming call You hear the ring tone of the fixed line phone: 왘 Put on the headset and establish a wireless link betw een headse t and base station (see page 23 ).
Using the headset syste m 26 Ending a call 왘 Disconnect the wireless link between headset a nd base station (see page 23 ). If you are using handset lif ter/electronic hook switch, the call is auto - matically ended.
27 Using the headset system Making a PC call 왘 Establish a w ireless lin k between he adset and base station (see page 23 ). 왘 Make the call using your sof tphone. Ending a PC call 왘 Disconnect the wi reless link betw een headse t and base station (see page 23 ).
If the “Always Audio” fu nction is activated , you can still ac cept calls via the Phone mode. After ending the call, the base station auto - matically switches back to PC mode and all PC audi o is reproduced via the headset.
29 Using the headset system T o start the conference call using the master headset: 4 5 왘 Establish a wireless li nk between he adset and base station (the LINK LED flashes blue). T o add a guest headset to the conference call: 왘 Place the guest headset to be added to the conference call into the base stat ion of the master headset.
Using the headset syste m 30 The volumes can be adjusted in se veral steps. When the minimum or maximum volume is reached, you hear a double beep in the headset. V ol – V ol + 6 왘 T o increase or reduce the volume step-by-step, push the AU DIO button backwards or forwards.
31 Using the headset system Pairing the headset to third party DECT GAP telephones 왘 Place the DW Pro1/Pro2 headset at a maximum distance of 1 m from the third party base station. 왘 Simultaneously pr ess and hold the headset’s LINK button and AUDIO button for 5 seconds.
Cleaning and maintaining the headset system 32 Cleaning and maintaining the headset system Damage to the product due to liquids! Liquids entering the product can short-circuit the electro nics or damage the me chanics. Solvents or cleansing agents can dama ge the surface of the product.
33 Cleaning and maintaining the headset system Replacing the headset’s rechargeable battery You can replace the rechargeable batter y. Spare rechargeable batteries are available from your Sennheiser part ner. Only use spare rechargeable batteries recommende d by Sennheiser Communications.
