1-2 Operator's Manual What Is the SpeedDome Ultra II Configuration Utility? The SpeedDom e Ultra I I Cam era D om e configuration utility provides a means to setting features for your cam era dom e v ia a text overlay menu. Y ou access this menu using a key stroke com bination.
Chapter 1: Getting Started 1-3 Note If y ou have password protection enabled for the config uration utility , the Enter Password screen appears first. You m ust correctly enter the password before the Dome Configuration Menu will appear. For information about entering the password, refer to Password Protection on page 1- 5.

During nam ing, m ov es the cursor to the right of the current character in the name. Zoom Out (Zoom Wide) Decreases the value of the selected field, or display s the previous choice for the field.

2-2 Operator’s Manual Overview of Pan, Tilt, and Zoom Settings When Pan/Tilt/Zoom Options is selected from the Dome Configuration Menu , the following screen appears: PAN / TI LT / ZOOM OPTIONS PROP.
Chapter 2: Pan, Tilt, and Zoom Options 2-3 Setting the “Flip” Feature The “flip” feature allows the dome to autom atically turn 180- deg rees when the camera tilts to its low er lim it and stays in that position for a brief delay . The duration of the delay is inversely proportional to the tilt speed.
2-4 Operator’s Manual Setting the Zoom Stop Factors Zoom stop factors define how to partition the zoom function. For example, the first z oom stop is set to 18X, and the maxim um zoom is set to 48X. If the current z oom factor is 8X, pressing Zoom In continuously causes the zoom to stop at 18X.
