2 Danger: Suffocation from exhaust fume ● Exhaust fume f rom the engine contains m any elem ents harmful to hum an. Do not operate this equipm ent in poorly venti lated areas, suc h as inside a room or in a tu nnel.
3 Caution: Injuries to ey e and skin ● Be sure to wear spark protection glass ( es), l ong-sleeve shirts, gloves, etc. in order to protect eyes and sk in from harmf ul spa rk in weldin g. ● Battery fluid contains diluted s ulfuric acid. Avoid contact with e yes skin or on clothi ng.
4 Caution: Burns ● Do not touch the engine and muffler during operation and imm ediately after stopping the equipment, for the tem perature can reac h extremel y high. ● W hen chec king engine oil or c hanging oil, a lways stop the en gine, and wait until the eng ine c ools down.

10 5-1. Eco We lding The equipm ent is incor porated in Eco Welding Fe ature that is aim ing at perf orming T he l ow noise, the lower fuel consum ption and the low gas emission than those of conventional m odels. W hen you turn the selecto r switch to Eco , y ou will be ab le to weld with M ax 4 .

19 6-5 Battery Caution: Injuries to ey e and skin ● Batter y Fluid contains diluted sulfur ic acid. Avoid contact with eyes, sk in or clothing. ● If the acid com es to contact, especia lly with e yes, flush with a lot of water and contact to a doctor imm ediately .

21 7. Keep the engine idle for about 5 m inutes. ■ Restarting after stopping due to f uel shortage T his equipm ent is incorp orated in automatic vacuum ing air feature. T herefore, even though the en gine stops due to fuel run out, you can restart the engine easil y by the following steps.
