Switch mains power back on. Make sure the mains socket is switched on if you want to use the phone---it will not work without electrical powe r.

To make a call 1. Key in the teleph one number (If you make a mistake, press CLEAR button to clear digits f r om the display.

Press the PHONEBOOK button, the display shows PIN? 3. Key in your PIN number and press the PHONEBOOK butto n, then press UP/DOWN button to the location BARRING.

U U s s e e r r M M a a n n u u a a l l 21 Resetting the system If you have set a PIN and for gotten it , you need to reset the syst em. The PIN will be reset to 0000. If you reset the system, you will lose all stored information (includi ng numbers i n memory) and all features will return t o thei r def aul t set tings .

Key in the number of the other handset. On the other handset's dis play, your number appears, and the INT symbol flashes.
U U s s e e r r M M a a n n u u a a l l 23 Troubleshootin g If you experie nce diffic ulties with th e working of your SD8101, refer to t he advice given below. 1. "The handset does not ring" Check the base unit's mains power adaptor is plugged in and power is switched on.
