The SUR-47 is a digi tal universal remote control that is easy to use, enabl ing you to control up to 16 electroni c devices equipped with an inf rar ed ( IR) re mo te.

Infrared Emitter: Point the infrared emitter at the device you want to operate. Light Sensor: Detects ambient light to automatically set the LCD panel backlight.

SUR-47 User’s Manual Trouble Shooting 35 Appendix C – Troubleshooting Troubleshooting Tables Problem Solution LCD does not show anything when you touc h it or press the hardware buttons. Batteries may be dead. Replac e the batteries with 4 ne w AAA Alkaline Batteries (page 4).
T r o u b l e S h o o t i n g S U R - 4 7 U s e r ’ s M a n u a l 36 Problem Solution You see “ERR OR” display on th e LCD dur in g the learning procedure. Make sure you hold the other r emote’s button down for about 2 seconds. Make sure you did not program more than one remote for a given device.
SUR-47 User’s Manual Trouble Shooting 37 Problem Solution The LCD screen turns off. The SUR-47 is pr es et a uto ma tica lly to swi tch the LCD off after the Power Down time. Just tap the SLEEP button to turn the SUR-47 back on again. You can also reset the Power Down time period (page 26 ).
