System Tour 4 English System peripherals The Aspire T130 computer consists the system it self, and system peripherals, like a mouse, a keyboard and a set of speakers (optional).
5 English Speakers For system s bundled with sp eakers, before powering on the system, connect the speaker cable to the a udio out (external spea ker) port on the back panel of the syst em. For more detailed information about the speakers, please refer to the included op erating instru ctions.
System Tour 6 English System upgrade You can expand your Aspire T130 system quickly and easily by addi ng components. You can also upgr ade the components of your Aspire T130 system. O pen the computer Before removing any panels or covers, please make sure to shut off the computer and unplug th e po wer cord from the outlet.
7 English Setting up your computer Aspire T130 is a versatile, high-p ower sy stem, supporting AMD Socket A (462) CPUs. The computer uses Peri pheral Component Interface (PCI) and Accelerated Graphics P ort (AGP) design. This improves system efficiency and helps the system support varied multimedia and software applications.

9 English Starting your computer After connecting all the peripheral equipment, st art your computer according to th e below steps: 1 Power o n all peri pheral eq uipment, such as monitor, printer, fax, speakers etc. 2 Turn on the system. Once the star t -up process is co mplete, you can begin to use the co mputer.

11 English T roubleshooting The following questions are possible situati ons that may ar ise during the use of your comp uter and each is followed by simple answers and solutions to th e situation. Q: I pressed the power switch but the system d id not boot up.
Troubleshooting 12 English Q: No sound comes out from the speakers. A: Check the following: • The volume may be muted. Look for the Volume icon on the taskbar. If it i s crossed-out , click on the icon and de select the Mute option. You ca n also press the volu me control/mut e knob on your USB keyboard to toggle the mute function.
