GB 2 BEFORE USING THE WASHING MACHINE 1. Remove the packaging and check a. Cut and rem ove the shrink-wr ap. b. Remove the top protect ion and the protective corners. c. Remove the bottom pro tection by tilting and turning the washing machine on one rear bot tom corner.

GB 5 Stain removal • Blood, milk, egg and other organic substances are generally removed by the enzyme phase of the programm e. • To remove red wine, coffee, tea, grass and fruit stains etc. add a stain removing agent in detergents d ispenser compar tment or chlorine bleach in compartment (depending on model).
GB 6 Loading the laundry 1. Open the machine lid. 2. Open the drum by pressing the b utton and keep your second hand on the big drum door at the same time.
GB 7 DETERGENTS AND ADDITIVES Choice of the right detergents and additives The type of detergent depends on: • type of fabric (cottons , easy care/synthetics, delicate items, wool). Note: use only spe cific detergents for wo ol. • colour; • washing temperature; • degree and type of soiling.
GB 8 PROGRAMME SELECTION Prep aration of wa sh cycle 1. Load the machine, close the drum flaps and check that they are properly locked. 2. Add det ergents and additives into the dispen ser to no more than the “MAX” level mark. Pleas e refer to “Detergents and additives”.
GB 9 CLEANING THE FOREIGN BODY TRAP The washing machine is provided with a self-cleaning pump. The foreign body trap keeps objects like buttons, coins, safety-pins etc. which h ave been left in the laundry. 1. Unplug the washing machine. 2. Open the foreign body trap cover with a coin.
GB 10 DRAINING RESIDUAL WATER CARE AND MAINTENANCE When should I drain residual water (draining problem)? • Before transporting ( moving) the machin e. • If the washing machine i s installed in a room subject to s ub- zero temperatures. I t is best in this case to drain the machine after every wash .
GB 11 Water inlet hose filter Check and clean regularl y (at least two or three times a year). 1. Unplug the washing machine. 2. Turn off the tap. 3. Unscrew the hose from the tap . 4. Carefully clean the filter located at the end of hose , without assembling it, for exampl e with a tooth-brush.
GB 12 Washing machine exterior and control panel • Clean with a soft damp cloth. • If necessary, a neutral household cleaner can be applied (do not use aggres sive or abrasive products). GB 16 Adjust the feet Install the washing machin e on a level surface, near to electrical, water and drain connections. If the floor is uneven, adjust the feet (do not inse rt pieces of wood, cardboard etc. under the feet): 1. Loosen the locknut using the wr ench provided.
