Instructions f or the user 12 5. USING THE O VEN 5.1 W arnings and g eneral advice f or use W ARNING BURN HAZARD Keep the o ven do or closed dur ing cooking. NO TE: When using the oven f or the first time, heat it to the max imum temperature (500°F) for sufficient time to burn awa y any oily residues from the manufacturing process.
Instructions f or the User 13 5.3 Operating modes This appliance is prog rammed t o provide 3 op erating se ttings , which can be modifi ed by pressing PT2. ST A ND-BY setting: with DSP1 on and sho wing the current time ( activ ated as soon as the current time h as been confirmed).

At any t ime while cooking is in progre ss, turn PT1 in either direction to increase or de crease the cooking tempera ture b y 5 degr ees at a time .
