GB 1. THE NEW WASHING SYSTEM This new washer dryer is the outcome of years of research. The leading-edge design and the quality of the produc tion processes used to manufacture this product ensure it will give you many years of excellent service. Its concept satisfies all current and future washing and drying requirements.
GB 2. SAFETY WARNINGS Attention! These warnings are given for safety reasons. Please read them carefully before installing and using the appliance. This manual forms an integ ral part of the appliance an d must therefore be kept intact togethe r with the machine.
GB Do not wash petrol-soa ked garments in the washer d ryer. Make sure there are no inflamm able items (e.g.: lighters, matches, etc. ) in pockets before washing. If volatile fluids have been used to clean garments, make sure that the substances have been removed before loading them in the washing machine.
GB 3. INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS Important ! The appliance must be installed by a specialised tech nician according to current reg u lations. This washer dryer is very hea vy.
GB 3.3 WATER SUPPLY CONNECTION 1. Check that inlet pressure lies bet ween the following values: 50-900kPa . For higher pressures, install a pressure reduc er. 2. Connect the cold water inlet hose ( light blue ring nut) to the cold water tap with a ¾ gas thread, taking care to screw it firmly into place in order to prevent leaks.
GB 4. DESCRIPTION OF CONTROLS 4.1 CONTROL PANEL All the commands and controls of the applianc e are ass embled together on the front panel. Models without delayed start option Models with delayed star.

GB G Display The display shows the following information: 1. time remaining for the selecte d programme, given in hours/minutes. 2. delay ed start (for models featuring this option). Given in hours/minutes. Whe n the time remaining before the programme sta rts is less than 60 minute s, this information is given in minutes/seconds.
GB M Options buttons The options that may be available on the washer dryer are shown belo w. Quick wash Button This button reduces the overall d ura tion of the washing cycle. This option is used to wash small loads or less dir t y washing in less time.
GB N Options enabled LED's These LED's light up wh en the relative option button is pressed and indicate that t he option has been selected. They remain on until the machine switch es off or a different selection is made. O “Start/Pause” button Press this button to start the selected washing pro gramme.
GB 5. WASHING INSTRUCTIONS 5.1 PREPARING THE WASHING 1. Separate the washing accordi ng to t he type and colourfastness of the fab r ics. 2. Wash whites and coloureds separatel y. Wash new colo ured garments separately for the first time. A label is normally applied to garments giving information on ho w to clean them.
GB 5.3 PREPARING THE WASHING Where possible, sa ve electricity by washing full loads divided by type of fab ric . Introduce loose washing a nd alternate large items with small ones. For the first fe w ti mes, weigh the loads of washing and then rely on your judgement.
GB 5.6 DOSING POWDER DETERGENTS Normally dirty washing 1. Choose a programme without pre wash. 2. Pour the total quantity of deter gent indicated on the packs into com partment “2” of the detergent tray. Very dirty washing 1. Choose a programme with pre wash.
GB Display information When the machine is s witched on, the display visu alises the duration (hours/minutes) and maximum spin speed envisaged for the programme. These t wo parameters are displayed alter natively for 3 seconds each, together with their relative LED's, until the selected programme starts.
GB 5.11 STARTING THE WASHING PROGRAMME 1. Before starting the selected programme, c arefully close the door, op en the water tap and add th e detergent and additive 2. Press the “Start-Pause” button. The LED located above the Start-Paus e button remai ns lit throughout the cycle.
GB To continue draini ng and spin ning, press the spin select b utton twice. The machi ne resumes the c ycle by draini ng the water and spinning. To select spin speed , press the bu tton until the required spee d is displ ayed.
GB • For automatic wash+dry programme s, therefore, the dr ying temper ature depends on which washing programme is selected. • T he washing must have been previously wash ed and spun before a dry-onl y programme can be performed.
GB Exam p le Drying times depend o n the s pin speed: the higher the s peed the lo wer the drying time and, consequen tly, the lower the power consumption.
GB 6.5 INTERRUPTING OR CHANGING THE DRYING PROGRAMME 1. To interrupt the dr ying programme, proceed as in dicate d in point 1 of paragr ap h 5.12 – Interrupting or changing the washing pr ogramme. W hen the machi ne is p aused, the dr yi ng time can be chan ged b y pr essin g the select button ( ).
GB 7. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE Important – Before cleaning or ser vicing the machine, remove the plug fro m the socket. 7.1 EXTERNAL CLEANING • Regular and constant cleaning will keep your applia nce looking like ne w. • Clean the outer surfaces with soap and wate r and then dry thoroughly with a soft cloth.
GB 3. Pull out the drain hose “A”. Attention: if the hose is hot it means the water is hot or boiling. Plac e a tray on the floor and remove the plug “B” to drain the water. Depending on the quantit y of water, it may be necessary to empty the tray several times.
GB 8. TROUBLESHOOTING This product complies with current safet y regulations governing electric al equipment. For safety reasons, all technical inspections or repairs must be performed b y qualified technicians in order to prevent hazardous situations for users.
GB 11 The machine does not spin The unbalance d load sensor has triggered because the washing is n ot uniformly distributed ins ide the drum. If the washing is wet at the end of the cycle, distribute it well inside t he basket and repeat just the spin c ycle.
