Its pur pose, aside f rom recom m ending standard oper ating procedures and routine servic e requirem ents, is to promote SAFETY through the use of ac cepted operating prac tices.
6 Section 2 - OPERA TING INSTRUCTIONS 2.1 PRE-START CHECK LIST Make the f ollowing check s and perf orm the ser vice required bef ore each star t-up. 2.1.1. Check tires and add or release air as needed to bring press ure to 12 PSI in front and 12 PSI in rear tires.

ENGINE (ELECTRIC START) IMPO RTANT: W hen the ignition k ey is turned to “START ”, the engine will turn over, but will not start unless the Clutc h/Brake pedal is press ed all the w ay down, the Blade Lever is in the “OFF” position (See Figure 2.

9 Section 2 - OPERA TING INSTRUCTIONS WA RNING Once blade is dise ngaged, it should come to a complete stop in 3 seconds or less. If the blade continues to rotate afte r 3 seconds, the blade brake must be adjust ed.
