2 INTRODUCTION Thank you for choosing a Soleus A ir Dehumidifier to provide you and your family with your home comfort needs. This owner’s manual will provide you with valuable information necessary for the proper care and maintenance of your new dehumidifier .

7 OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS Control Panel Indicator Lights • Power Indica tor Light The power indicator light will turn on when the unit is plugged in, regardless of whether the unit is operating or not. • Tank Full Indica tor Light The tank full indicator light will turn on when the drainage tank is full or positioned incorre ctly.
8 OPERATION 1. Plug the power cord into a grounded outlet • After the power cord is plugged into an outlet, the pow er light will turn on . • The fan will continuou sly run, ev en if the compresso r shuts off. 2. Open the louver manually • Before operation starts, please check and make sure the louver has been opened.
9 NOTE : 1. Do not remove the styrofoam pa cking from the float on the un it. The float on the unit wi ll no longer be able to de tect the water level co rrectly withou t the styrofoam pa cking, and water may lea k from the water tank. This can cause electrical shock and/or short circuits.

11 MAINTENANCE Cleaning the Dehumidifier • To Clean the Body Wipe it with a soft damp cloth Gasoline benzene, thinners, scouring powder, chemically treated dust cloths, a nd detergents may damage the main unit and should not be use d. • To Clean the Air Filter NOTE: The air filter should be cleaned approximately once every two weeks.
