Each OV A file contains all software components related to SonicW ALL Email Security .
Page 6 About Thic k Pr ovisioning Thick provisioning occurs when an OV A file is deployed on your ESX/ESXi server . This type of provisioning pre-allocates all the hard disk sp ace for the virtual appliance .

Page 16 Configuring Settings on the Appliance W eb Interf ace After configur ing the IP address and default route settings on the SonicW ALL Email Security Virtual Appliance conso le, the next steps are to configur e host name, netw ork, and time settings in the appliance manage ment interface.

Page 18 4. A dialog box warns you that the virtual appliance will reboot. Click OK . Note: If you modified the DNS settings, the se rv ices on the appliance will restart when the changes ar e applied, causin g a mome ntary connectivity loss to the Web server.

Registration is performed usin g the appliance man agement interface. When registration is completed, SonicW ALL Email Security will be licensed on your virtual appliance.
