4 VISCA Comm unication Specificati ons VISCA packet str ucture The basic unit of VIS CA communication is cal led a packet (Fig. 2). The f irst byte of t he packet is cal led the header and compri ses the sender’ s and rec ei ver’ s addresses.

6 VISCA Devic e Setting Command Before starti ng control of the BR C-H900, be sure t o send the Address command and the IF_Clear command using the broadcast fu nction. For VISCA netw ork administration • Addr ess Sets an address of a peripheral de vice.
7 VISCA Command/A CK Protocol * When the c amera addre ss selector is set to an addr ess other than 0, the value x in 88 30 0x FF will be variable. Do not transmit th e command (ex cept Address Set, IF_Clear , Comma nd Cancel, PO WER (page 12)) when any menu i s displayed on the screen.
