Getting Started 4 Unpacking Check that you received the following items: • Audio connecting cord (1) • Remote commander (remote) (1) • Sony SUM-3 (NS) batteries (2) Inserting batteries into the remote You can control the player using the supplied remote.
Getting Started Getting Started 5 Hookups When connecting an audio cord, be sure to match the color-coded cord to the appropriate jacks on the components: Red (right) to Red and White (left) to White. Be sure to make connections firmly to avoid hum and noise.
Getting Started 6 What cords will I need? • Audio cord (1) (Use the cord supplied with the player to be connected.) • Monaural (2P) mini-plug cord (1) (not supplied) 1 Connect the players with an audio cord (see also “Hookups” on page 5). 2 Connect the players with a monaural (2P) mini- plug cord.

The display shows the current disc number, the total number of tracks, total playing time and music calendar.

EX-CHANGE 1 Press EX-CHANGE. The disc tray opens and two disc compartments appear.
