GB 9 Insertin g the battery pack 1 Open the cover. 2 Insert the battery pack. • While pre ssing the batte ry eject lever , insert the bat tery pack as illus trated. GB 10 Charging the battery pack 1 Connect th e camera to the AC Adaptor (sup plied), using th e dedicat ed USB ca ble (supp lied). 2 Connect th e AC Adaptor to the wall outl et (wall socke t). The Charge la mp lights oran ge, and charging sta rts. • Turn off the cam era while char ging the battery.
GB 11 • If the Charge lamp on t he camera flashes when the AC Adaptor is connected to t he wall outlet (wall socket), this indicates that charging is temporarily stopped because the temperature is outside t he recommended range. When the temperature gets back within the appropriate range, th e charging resumes.
GB 12 x Charging by co nnecting to a compute r The ba ttery pack can be charg ed by connecti ng th e camera to a c omputer using the dedi cated USB ca ble. • Note th e following points when charging via a computer: – If the camer a is connected to a laptop computer that is not connected to a power source, the laptop battery level decreases.
GB 13 • The above number of images applies when the battery pack is fully charged. The number of images may decrease depending on the conditions of use.
GB 14 • Power cannot be supplied when the battery pack is not inserted in the camera. • When the camera is connected directly to a computer or to a power outlet using the supplied AC Adaptor, power supply is available only in playback mode.

GB 18 • Con tinuous shooting is possible for approx imately 29 minutes at one time at the camera’s default settings and when the temperature is approximately 25°C (77°F) . When movie re cording is finished, you can restart recording by pressing the shutter button again.
