Playback 15 Using the Playbac k Information Display Whil e playing a DV D, you ca n check the cur rent playba ck i nfor mation . Th e playba ck inform ation di splay als o allows you to se t a title/cha pter or c hange sou nd/ subtitle , and so on. When e nter ing t he num bers, oper ate the number butt ons on the remote.

20 b Depending o n the disc, “4:3 Letter B ox” may be select ed automat ically instead of “4:3 Pa n Scan” or vice versa. ◆ Angle Mark (DV D VIDEO only) Displays the angle mark when you can change the viewing angles during playback of DVDs recorded with mu lti-angles .
Settings an d Adjustments 21 Parental Control You can limit playback of a DVD that has the pa rental contro l func tion. When you opera te this se tting, use the remote. ◆ Passw ord (D VD VIDEO only) Enter o r change a passwo rd. Set th e pass word for th e par ental contro l func tion.
