13 The head mou nted unit can be adjusted i n several ways to ensure a pers onalized, comfortab le fit. For a more comforta ble fit, al ways adjust the h ead mounted unit befo re putting it on.
14 2 Light bloc ker If external light reflected on th e screens is distractin g, attach the light blockers. The uppe r-left l ight b locker is label ed “L,” an d the upper-ri ght one , “R.” A ttach the correct top ligh t blocker on each side by pushing the tabs i nto the two holes on the to p of the len s section .
15 For a Comfortable Fit Have t he weight of th e head moun ted uni t balanc ed b etween your fo rehe ad and the back of your he ad Wear the head moun ted unit so that it feels balanc ed between the forehead supp orter and lower head band strap, and aft er repositionin g it to bring the lenses in fron t of yo ur eye s, make sure it fits secure ly.
16 Attaching and Replacing Earbuds Bass may be ina udibl e unless earbu ds fit well. For a better li stening ex perience, try a different earbud size or adjust the position of the e arbuds, so tha t they fit p erfectly in your ears. Medium -sized ea rbuds are i nitially attache d to the headp hones, at the t ime of purchase.
17 Confirm scre en alignment by referrin g to the c onfirmatio n screen disp layed initia lly after le ns span adjust ment. Scre ens on the he ad mounte d unit are describ ed below, with an explan ation of how to confirm alig nment. The dis play se ction of the h ead mou nted u nit co nsists o f two small screens, on the left an d right.
18 Correct Display For correct display, slide the lens span a djusters as needed so that all thre e “I” marks and the horizont al line in tersect. It is accep table if the “I” marks and the horizon tal line inte rsect in a position oth er than th e center of the screen.
19 Setting m enus can be acces sed at any ti me to cha nge or adjust a variety of sy stem setti ngs, suc h as video p icture quality , audio outp ut format, a nd 3D display fo rmat. To vie w the menu s, press the MENU bu tto n on the hea d mounte d unit .
20 Menus Default se ttings are unde rlined. Informatio n Identifies input signal s (video an d audio sign als) from the equi pment conn ected to the processor u nit. “ Unsupported signal” indicates that the input sig nal is incompa tible w ith the system, and “No signa l” is show n when no signals are i nput.
21 3D Display Manual ly select the di splay fo rmat for 3D cont ent. Availab le settin gs var y dep endin g on w hethe r the sourc e sig nal inc ludes a 3D format identifica tion signal , as follo ws.
22 Disp lay Auto 3D On : Automatica lly switches to 3 D display mode when a 3D format identificat ion sign al is detected. If the 3D fo rmat identificatio n signal is no longer detecte d, the system will automat ically switch to 2D di splay mod e. Off: Deactivate s this functio n.

Off : Deacti vates th is func tion. 24 fps v ideo s ignals are displ ayed afte r upconve rsion t o 60 fps.
25 Sound Back Returns to the previo us menu. Reset Resets all “Sou nd” settings to the origin al default va lues. Surround Standa rd : Stan dard a coust ic set ting, pro vidin g a s paciou s soun dstag e for a ra nge of co ntent.
26 Genera l Setup Type of Headp hones Switches to the optimal vir tual surround-so und setting for the type o f head phone s used. Inner Ear : Ideal for headphones worn in your ears, such as the suppli ed hea dphones. Overhead: Ideal for headphones worn over or on your ears.
27 Control for HDMI On : Activates control for HDMI CEC (Consumer Electronic Control)- compatib le equip ment conne cted to the processor unit us ing the v / V / b / B buttons on the head moun ted unit. v button: S tart s pl ayba ck. V button: Pauses play back.

If you clear th e message and continue wa tching, th e system will automa tically go off after ano ther 3 hours to e ncourage healthy viewing ha bits.

34 HDMI Control Other Issues There is no audi o input in Dolby Digital or AAC format p The pl ayba ck equi pmen t may b e conf igur ed to convert Dolb y Digital or AAC audio outp ut signals to LPCM signals. In this case, in th e playback e quipmen t setting s, disable Do lby Digit al or AAC con version, and then resume p layback.
