2 Owner’s Record The model and serial numbers are located at the rear of the TV. Record these numbers in the spaces provided below. Refer to them whenever you call upon your Sony dealer regarding this product.

5 For the unit with a three-wire grounding type AC plug This plug will only fit into a grounding-type power outlet. This is a safety feature. If you are unable to insert the plug into the outlet, contact your electrician to have a suitable outlet installed.
6 Broken pieces Do not throw anything at the unit. The screen glass may break by the impact and cause serious injury. Cable wiring Take care not to catch your feet on the cables. It may damage the unit. Heat Do not touch the surface of the TV. It remains hot, even for some time after the TV is turned off.
7 Outdoor use Do not install this unit outdoors. If the unit is exposed to rain, it may result in fire or electric shock. If the unit is exposed to direct sunlight, the unit may heat up and it may damage the unit. Vehicle and ceiling Do not install this unit in a vehicle or hung from the ceiling.

22 After connections with antennas and other equipment are completed, be sure to attach the supplied clamp screws to the rear of the TV, and pass a sturdy cord or chain and attach it to a wall or pillar. 1 Remove one of the two screws at the rear of the TV, then attach the supplied clamp screw to the screw hole.

49 Watching the TV Tip To change from one Wide Screen Mode to another, use the WIDE button on the remote control. Notes • The 4:3 Default functions only when the TV receives 480i or 480p signals. • If “4:3 Default” is set to anything but “Off,” the Wide Screen Mode setting changes only for the current channel.
