Locating Controls and Connectors 5 Locating Contr ols and Connector s Fr ont P anel Overview The front panel of your V AIO Computer enables access to the optical and flopp y disk driv es. It also includes U ni versal Seria l Bus (USB) and i.LIN K® ports to connect compatible peripheral de vices.

15 Configuring Y our V AIO Computer Har d Disk Drive P ar tition T o maintain optimum system performance, you shoul d defragment your computer ’ s D partition regularly . In order to improv e the performance of Sony audio/video software applications, the hard disk dri ve on your computer has been formatted with two partitions, C and D.

19 System, Application and Driver Reco ver y CD(s) System Recovery CD(s) Sony Electr onics Inc. The System Recov ery CD utility enables you to restore the operating system and software that shipped with your computer if they become corrupted or are erased.
