Y our VCR can pick up this time signal to automa tical ly set the cl ock. The Auto Clock Set feat u re works only if a channel i n yo ur area is broadc asting a time signal.

20 Setting the cloc k Notes • The clock can not be set automat ic al ly if you do not rec eive a chan ne l th at carries a tim e signal in your a rea. If so, set the cl ock manu ally (p age 21) . • If there are on ly a few channels in your area that ca rry time signa ls, set ting the cloc k autom atically may take up to a bout 20 m inutes.
