10 P owe r suppl y Y ou can use your camcorder in any c ountries/ regions using the AC Adaptor s upplied with y our camcorder within the AC 100 V to 240 V , 5 0/60 Hz range . Use a commercially av ailable AC plug adaptor [a], if necessary , depending on the design of the wall outlet [ b].

13 Gettin g Started 1 While pressing the green button, turn the PO WE R switch repeatedl y in the direction of the arrow until the respective l amp lights up. When you r ecord or play back an i mage, tur n th e POWER sw itch in the dir ecti on of the arr ow repe ated ly unti l the resp ecti ve lamp ligh ts up.
14 1 Adjust the LCD panel. Open th e LCD pa nel 90 degree s to the camco rder ( 1 ), then rota te it to th e best angl e to r ecord or pl ay ( 2 ). 2 T urn the POWER switch to turn on your camcorder . 3 Press WIDE SELECT repeatedly t o select the desired screen aspect ratio (except for DCR-SR 42).

16 • Y ou can check the free har d disk space by touching (HOME) t (M A NAG E HDD/MEMOR Y) t [ INFO]. • If the A CCE SS lamp is lit or flas hing after recording is finished, it means data is still being written onto t he hard disk or “Memory Sti ck Duo.
