1 Intr o ducti on Congratulatio ns on your purchase of the S ony FD T rinitron WEGA . Before you begin usi ng this manual, please check the model number located on the r e ar of your TV or on the fr ont cover of this manual.
2 About this Manual This manual provides instructions to help you enjoy your new TV . It shows you how to connect to an antenn a or cable, cable box, VCR, DV D, satellit e rece iver , stereo sy stem, or camcorder . Once you’r e connected, follow the instructions and use the re mote control to access the on-scr een menus.

Change y our audi o sett ings. Custom ize your chan nel settings . Set rating limits on your TV based on a pr ogram’s rating or content.

27 Menus United Stat es: Se lecting Cus tom Rat ing Options For the United States, the Custom Rating menu incl udes the f ollo win g opt ion s: Movi e R ating , TV Rating and Unrated. (For Canada, see page 29.) Movie Rating This system defines the ra ting levels of movies shown in theaters and on prime cable channels.
