5 EQUIPMENT W AR NING & NOTICE LABELS This chart is provided to help identify the warning & notice labels on the AeroPilate s Pre mier 690. Plea se ta ke a moment to fa miliarize yoursel f with all of the warning & notice labels.
6 HAR D W ARE IDENTIFICA TION CHAR T This chart is provided to help identify the hardware used in the a ssembly process. Pla ce the wa shers, the ends of the bolts, or screws on the circles to check f or the correct dia meter . Use the small scale to check the length of the bolts a nd screws.
7 ASSEMBL Y INSTRUCTIONS Pla ce all parts from the box in a cleared area a nd position them on the floor in front of you. Re move all pa cking materials from your are a and pla ce the m ba ck into the box. Do not dispose of the pa cking materials until a ssembly is completed.
STEP 5: Ma ke sure that the threa ded holes in the FOOTBAR(5) are fa cing toward the end of the AeroPilate s Pre mier 690 a s shown in the illustration. Insert the FOOTBAR(5) into the mounting holes located in the FRONT COVER(3) a nd FRONT FRAME(1). Insert the FOOTBAR(5) all the way to the bottom a nd lock it in pla ce with the LOCKING KNOBS(26).
ASSEMBL Y INSTRUCTIONS 9 Slots STEP 8 Insert the FOAM P AD ASSEMBLIES(16) into the holes located on the CARRIAGE(7). Pla ce the HAND STRAPS(20) onto the FOAM P AD ASSEMBLIES(16) f or storage.
10 OPERA TIONAL INSTRUCTIONS Over ti me your TENSION CORDS(10) will relax. T o incre a se resista nce in the TENSION CORDS(10), stretch a nd re-tie the tension cords in a more taut position. B C Support Bra cket LOAD ADJUSTMENT The resista nce of the CARRIAGE(7) ca n be adjusted by securing the TENSION COR DS(10) in the slots on the FRONT FRAME(1).

12 CONDITIONING GUIDELINES How you begin your exercise progra m depends on your physical condition. If you have been in a ctive for several years or are severely overwe ight, start slowly a nd increa se your workout time gra dually . Increa se your workout intensity gra dually , too, by monitoring your heart rate while you exercise.
13 W ARM-UP a nd COOL-DOW N W arm-Up The purpose of warming up is to prepare your body f or exercise a nd to minimize in juries. W arm up for two to f ive minutes bef ore strength-training or aerobic exercising. Perf orm a ctivities that raise your heart rate a nd warm the working muscles.
